Nurturing ThreadsSupporting Tabitha Cambodia's cottage industries
Nurturing Threads has been established since 2008. It is a not-for-profit business that distributes and sells Cambodian hand dyed, hand woven silk products, manufactured by the Tabitha Foundation in Cambodia.
Nurturing Threads has been appointed by Tabitha Foundation Australia as the Australian distributor of Tabitha’s Cottage Industry Products, and is based in Sydney, Australia. The Nurturing Threads range includes homeware and bedware such as doona covers, pillow covers, cushions and runners, and fashion accessories such as handbags, scarves, shawls, jewellery rolls and other products. Nurturing Threads products are available in a range of over 60 colours and come in smooth or rough silk. All items can be custom ordered or can be purchased from displayed stock.
Every product that is purchased is a win-win for Tabitha. Products purchased provide employment for women who are paid a fair price. Nurturing Threads returns profits to the Tabitha Foundation to assist with professional training and other family and community cottage industry projects. Nurturing Threads is a member of the Fair Trade Association of Australia and New Zealand. | Our Products
